Time Flies ..............

Goodness gracious! How can it possibly be June already? It doesn’t seem 5 minutes since New Year! I’ve certainly had a busy few months. At the beginning of the year we had a new kitchen installed. We managed to escape for a few days in Rye and then Hastings while the worst of the demolition happened, but it still meant living with disruption and dust for several weeks of course. The results are well worth all the chaos though, so I’m definitely not complaining.

Then the Other Half had a very big birthday, so off we went to Marseilles for a week to celebrate. The family were able to come and join us for several days and it was all great fun. We were so lucky and had lovely weather, stayed in a great hotel, ate fantastic food, and generally had a very wonderful time.

Not long after returning from France, Zel Hunt and I reprised our ‘Liminal Spaces’ exhibition, this time showing in Rochester, in the delightful little Halpern Pop gallery. This is such a pretty space, and everyone there is so friendly and helpful, I heartily recommend a visit if you are in that neck of the woods. There’s a really good cafe there too.

And now Zel and I are busily preparing for another exhibition. There’s just no stopping us! This time we’re showing in Whitstable at The Horsebridge (Gallery 2). We’ll be showing paintings, sculpture and fused glass works in our ‘Hidden Depths’ exhibition, opening on 22nd June. (See the exhibitions page for details). We’re there for nearly 2 weeks so do come in and see us if you can - we’ll be delighted to see you!
